When we set out to design this mural three factors rose to the forefront of our thinking: the design had to be locally relevant, aesthetically engaging and due to its location, it must conjure the feeling of movement. A challenge indeed but one we felt we could rise to. We chose to avoid literal representation in favor of abstraction so that we may utilize symbology to its fullest extent.
